The Pete Dye-designed PLAYERS Stadium Course is home to one of the most challenging and photographed holes in the world, the famed 17th Island Green. It is also home to
THE PLAYERS Championship, one of the most coveted titles in golf. Enhancements made as part of an extensive restoration of the course have elevated both the tournament and competitive play to a higher level. The PLAYERS Stadium allows golfers to experience access usually reserved exclusively for PGA TOUR players.    
   
       

THE PLAYERS Stadium Course Renovation
THE PLAYERS Stadium Course underwent a historic summer-long restoration in 2006. The tees, fairways and greens were rebuilt with new sand and a modern drainage system to encourage "firm and fast" conditions. Offline shots are more likely to roll into difficult spots among or behind 200 newly planted trees (oaks, pines and palms). Natural waste areas, lower-level bunkers, greenside chipping areas and water hazards may also
come into play more often. The course will not be over-seeded with ryegrass, as was necessary for the previous March date of THE PLAYERS, resulting in a faster playing surface year-round. But more than the changes, Pete Dye said the alterations will allow for one basic tenet: a better course year round.


    
TPC Sawgrass
Designed by Pete Dye, Bobby Weed and player consultant Jerry Pate, Dye's Valley Course is the "younger brother" of the Players`Stadium Course. Finished in 1987, the golf course has hosted events such as the SENIOR PLAYERS Championship, the NFL Golf Classic, and the final stage of Senior Qualifying School.

DYE'S VALLEY COURSE
As sibling to the world renowned THE PLAYERS Stadium Course, Dye's Valley Course has had its share of legends competing on its manicured surfaces, with water on every hole. Dye's Valley Course was host to the Senior PLAYERS Championship at Dye's Valley in 1988 and immediately garnered a prestigious winner, Billy Casper. In 1989, former U.S. Open Champion, Orville Moody shot a course record of 64 in the third round to outdistance Charles Coody and Gary Player. 1990 marked the last year of this event on Dye's Valley. It has also been home to the Cadillac NFL Golf Classic and the United Van Lines Aces Championship.

Recently recognized in the 2006/2007 Zagat Book of America's Top Golf Courses, Dye's Valley Course is a " Cinderella " to the Stadium, this "often overlooked" Pete Dye/Bobby Weed layout next to Sawgrass Marriott still charms putting princes with a "challenging abundance of water", large greens, a superb opening hole, a "first-rate practice facility" and that "great TPC service and style&q uot;; though it's sans "the glam", this "tough" but "nice alternative's " "better pacing and pricing" might just "make your day."

 2 Best Balls per hole (1 BB Net + 1 BB  Gross )
 Amateurs will receive 80% of handicap with a maximum of 18 strokes per player.
 

 Senior golfers 60 and older will play from senior-designated tees.
